The Shelby Mustang Emailing List

The Shelby Mustang List is the national email list for Shelby Mustang owners or fans of the cars. Very simply how it works, once you are a member, is send an email to shelbymustang at carmemories.com and all members get your email. Most of the members currently on the list are owners of Shelby Mustangs. Our combined experience with Shelby Mustangs (and Fords) is tremendous. Most of us have restored at least one Shelby Mustang and probably other cars. And many of us have owned our cars for many years. Got a question on how to do something or where is the best place to obtain a part, send a request out to the list. A number of the members are certified judges of Mustangs, Fords or Shelby Mustangs. Almost all of us are active with our local car clubs and the national SAAC club. So if you own a Shelby Mustang or just like them, you should sign up for the emailing list.

The group also has a car gallery for members hosted by www.CarMemories.com. If you are reading this you are on the pages now. Feel free to take advantage of the gallery by uploading pictures of your car(s). You can also include stories and experiences. The site adds your pictures and stories to the group gallery. To Subscribe: It is very simple to join the list for Shelby Mustang owners. The list is automated and also hosted by www.CarMemories.com. 

1) Send an email to shelbymustang-subscribe@carmemories.com.

2) you will get an automatic response from the system that reads like this: 

    "Hi! This is the ezmlm program. I'm managing the
    shelbymustang@carmemories.com mailing list.

    To confirm that you would like

    dbegley@carmemories.com

    added to this mailing list, please send an empty reply to this address:


    shelbymustang-sc.997505128.aboeknhmaomfolkajpko-dbegley=carmemories.com@carmemories.com

    Your mailer should have a Reply feature that uses this address automatically.

    This confirmation serves two purposes. First, it verifies that I am able
    to get mail through to you. Second, it protects you in case someone
    forges a subscription request in your name."

Just hit reply on your email program and the system will add you to the list. This confirms with the system that this email address (you) want to be a member of the list.

3) Then to send an email to all of us, simply send your email to shelbymustang at carmemories.com and we will all get it.

To Unsubscribe: Send an email to shelbymustang-unsubscribe@carmemories.com from the email address you want unsubscribed and it will be removed.

To Change your email address: Two ways to do that:

1. Unsubscribe using the above step from the email address that is being changed, then re-subscribe using your new email address.
2. If that doesn't work or you can't unsubscribe from an email address that you already cancelled, drop an email to the webmaster at CarMemories.com and ask me for some assistance. Glad to help out.

I have removed the email links in the above text to stop those damn email scavengers from stealing the email addresses to spam the list and me. Where the address says "at" replace it with "@", you know like normal addresses look.
