The front end of the 1969 was totally different from the other years.  The 69 had chrome trim around the mouth of the opening. Fiberglass front fenders and hood. A NASA style of hood scoops, a Shelby unique front bumper. The Shelby Mustangs came as Mach1's from Dearborn. Note the coiled Cobra on the right side of the grille. The driving lights where placed under the lower chrome bumper.
