The 1967 Shelby Mustang used '67 Cougar tail
lights mounted in a special fiberglass back panel. This was the first
year for the rear spoiler. Note the Shelby Mustang emblem on the left of
the spoiler. The 67 also had a flip down gas cap very similar to the '68
with SHELBY COBRA GT350 or GT500 on it. This car belongs to Steve
Blackett.
This is the rear end of Kenny's
67 GT 500. Without the stripes, you can see the rear end a little
better. Note the tail lights have a chrome frame but unlike the 68 there
are no chrome on the red lens. Also note the single tube exhaust. Click

This picture is of Eleanor from the Movie "Gone
in 60 Seconds". Although the movie car was not a real Shelby
Mustang, its seems appropriate to show the car here.
