The 1969 Shelby Mustangs

Ford introduced a new body for the Mustang in 1969.  Ford needed a more aerodynamic body for Tran Am racing, this was it. Shelby American continued the 428 Cobra Jet motor in 1969 and1970. The GT 350 was powered by Ford's new 351 engine. This was the year that Ford introduced the Mach 1, Boss 302 & Boss 429 Mustangs.
