The 1967 Shelby Mustang used '67 Cougar tail lights mounted in a special fiberglass back panel. This was the first year for the rear spoiler. Note the Shelby Mustang emblem on the left of the spoiler. The 67 also had a flip down gas cap very similar to the '68 with SHELBY COBRA GT350 or GT500 on it. This car belongs to Steve Blackett. |

This is the rear end of Kenny's 67 GT 500. Without the stripes, you can see the rear end a little better. Note the tail lights have a chrome frame but unlike the 68 there are no chrome on the red lens. Also note the single tube exhaust. Click on the picture for a larger image. |
