Ok, I was in Vegas visiting my son and we went to the Shelby Plant
for a tour. When we got back to the production area part of the tour,
There was "Eleanor" in the flesh!!! She was just sold at auction for
$180k and was at Shelby for some minor detailing. I was able to look
in the car. It was a four speed,with black interior Stainless dash
panels and the dash was signed By Carol Shelby!! My son and I had our
picture taken standing by it. The tour guide voulnteered the
information when I asked what it was doing there. He also said it was
bought by someone in TX and they also bought the rights from Shelby
to produce 10 67' GT 500's. Believe me or not, but I was there and
she was beautiful.
