Dad's 68 shelby gt500 KR convertible

I grew up in the early 70's. I remember from when I was 4 years
old, my Dad had a Red mustang convertible he always called a
Shelby. Not until he traded it to Town and Country Ford in
Charlotte, NC did I know how nice of a car it was. When we traded
it in 76 or 77, they put that USED car on the center show room
floor. We traded for a new F100 truck. I've always loved looking
at pictures of that car. Yesterday, I found the sales sheet for the
Shelby. Wondering if anybody out here has seen it or owns it. The
Shelby serial number is 2570. First digits on the code are 8T03P.
