ELEANOR.....
Hello,
When I first saw the movie "Gone In 60 Seconds" I culdnt belive
myself that there is a car like that, "Eleanor" (G.T.500E), it was
the car of my dreams and I knew I had to have it. Sure I saw the
movie late (2001) at my friends house, but since that day I loved
it. My English wasnt very good then so when they said in the
movie, "I think theres only a few of these in town" I thought theres
on a couple left in the world and that put me down. I knew that I
had too see that movie again, but as I was only 11 I could not buy
it. After a while things changed, we moved, I got into a different
hobby and I forgot about Gone In 60 Seconds. I remembered the car,
but not the movie. Then in April 2002 I went down to block-buster
video store and saw the film, I remembered how much I loved that
film so I borrowed it out.
I watched and loved that film. I did heaps of projects at school,
Ive even written a HUGE book about it twice. I boight the DVD and
has been watching it ever since. When I first bought it, I would
watch it 2-3 times a day for a week or two. I watch it every sunday
now.
Ive been to thousands of websites got tons of pics untill i finaly
saw it, the information I knew would change my mind. The article I
read was un-belivable, it said that it was possibel to build your
own Eleanor from old mustangs, I loved mustangs ever since i was 4
or 5, (when I used to play with toy cars). Ever since then I knew
there was a chance of me having an Eleanor.
It wasnt going to be easy, it wasnt going to be soon, but it was
possibele. Ive been looking around on the internet on how to build
it, where to get the parts and stuff, and how much. The Eleanor kit
would cost me $5000, "please tell me, where is a 13 year old kid
going to gte that much?" So I looked and looked, learned and
learned, if a new picture appeared on the Internet, I knew I would
have to have it.
Now Ive found the perfict mustang, not expencive at all, and needs
love (lets hope that its not sold by the time I get all my Cash for
it!)
I also found a guy that can make the whole intier kit for me for
under $2000, you dont come across many people like that, and now all
is left for me to do is, get the money. Any one want to lend me
about $2000?
